Patrick Vale (b. 1980, London) is an artist working between New York and London. Inspired by architecture from a young age, Vale creates mesmerizing urban landscape drawings from the artist’s unique and selected point of view. Investigating each city’s sights, smells, and energy by walking, speaking with locals, and sketching his surroundings, his illustrations are at once immersive cityscape studies and omniscient semi-aerial views. Drawing freehand from the top of emblematic buildings like the Empire State Building or the Top of the Rock, Vale plays with depth, scale, and the city's dynamism by adding a new dimension to the world’s iconic cityscapes.
Patrick Vale has a degree in Graphic Design from Central St. Martins, London.
